Penny enters the series as a young adult. She met Kason when he moved next door to her and they origionally could not stand each other. Over time, they became friend and then lovers.
Penny really wanted to get married and so they had a quiet wedding.
The couple really wanted to adopt a child and so they did. Thomas came into their lives as a child. He was everything Penny was missing in life. When Thomas had settled in, they decided to have a baby of their own and Jamal came into the world. When Jamal became a child, Penny gave birth to her first daughter, Annabelle.

Elder:

Penny grew gracefully into her elder years. She enjoyed caring for her family, watchingher children grow up and going on date nights with her husband Kason. She enjoyed their new home in Oasis Springs and was looking forward to becoming a grandmother one day.
Penny died in her dining room one summer morning. She had been feeling unwell and collapsed. By the time she was discovered, it was too late.
